    SUMMARY

Thomas Lagoarde-Ségot is not only an economist who, along with colleagues, seeks to conceptualize post-growth. He is also a skilled unifier who cannot tolerate the divisions within this group of strong-willed thinkers. Without unity, there is no way to influence the social and ecological reconstruction of our societies. Yet, that is precisely their goal: to ensure that their research can be shared and grounded in reality.
